IEBS class length is a college semester of time. Besides your certificate, ALL training is done with an instructor in a perfect learning environment. Never learn on your own or online. Also includes Live Service Training (Real Bartending Experience!). All sign up’s include a Lifetime of Refreshers Classes and Membership To Our Bartender Staffing Agency!! Same certificate of completion as every school, but don’t fall for the scam. YOU DO NOT NEED A BARTENDING LICENCE OR CERTIFICATE. You do need a RBS certificate which is done online and a food handlers certificate. That RBS will certify you know the legal ramifications and responsibilities of bartending. YOU CAN NOT GET HIRED WITHOUT KNOWING HOW TO USE THE POINT OF SLES SYSTEMS! IEBS is the only school that provides the crucial TOAST (#1 used system) Point of Sale System (computerized cash register) trainings. TOAST is used behind most bars, not knowing it simply losses your chance at getting the job a lot of the time.. IEBS includes the POS into class drills to get the best REAL LIFE bartending experience. Other schools will tell you its “not necessary, waste of time, there’s 20 types etc”. That’s because they do not have POS systems. It’s training is expected and there is no time to show you. 2 strikes and your out when it comes to mistakes on the POS, fact! With IEBS you have the ability to learn this system step by step with a instructor. You are able to make mistakes and learn from them. Something you are not allowed to do in the real world which make learning the POS System very difficult to learn.
When creating the most COMPLETE bartending school in the country, TOAST POS system training is a MUST. Every job requires the knowledge (most say so in job adds). This training defiantly gives you the advantage new bartenders need. Simply put, if 2 equal people apply for 1 bartending job and only one knows the POS system, Bar Managers are going to hire the person w/ prior POS training every time.
TRANSACTIONS ON THE POS IS 50% OF THE JOB AND THE MANAGERS AND OWNERS #1 CONCERN. Knowing how to use one POS system, you basically can use any system. Great example; our students bartend at venues through out SoCal because they are trained to use the POS and can simply adapt to any system out there (like a cell phone). Don’t believe us? Ask any bartender or bar manager, not only are they all very similar but without knowing how to use a POS system students will find it hard to break into the competitive world of bartending. If you are not familiar with the system and are unable to perform cash and credit card transactions it is IMPOSSIBLE TO BARTEND.

Testing Process:
-THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO BARTENDING THAN JUST A RECIPE! Test grade is based on: recipe knowledge, POS system (ringing the drinks in properly), customer service, up-selling, technique and overall bartender etiquette. For testing we conduct a “mock service”, to pass IEBS, you must bartend at a B+ level or higher for 2.5 hours! About 90% of our students pass the first time. IEBS is a very structured LEARNING PROGRAM, with homework and quizzes to go with outside studying. Instructors run the class, every minute of class time is organized and filled with NEW realistic bartending drills and training. We care about our students and rather work with them longer to achieve the goal of passing the Nations #1 Bartending Program.
-Student must get a B+ or higher to pass the program. This insures we produce nothing but the best! Free classes will be added w/ a monitored plan for success until students reach the elite standard’s of IEBS, and pass our realistic bartending test
